Pre-war single-seat sports and race cars, “one-off” specials and post-war T-Series MGs
Vintage Production (1941 to 1961)
Single seat open-wheeled and sports racing cars including production sports cars, formula juniors, post-war “one-off” specials (e.g. Cooper, Lotus, Elva, Gemini, Lola, Sadler, Stebro, Austin Healy Sprite, Lotus Seven, Triumph TR3/4, MGA, Porsch 356, VAY Canada Class Special)
Historic Production (1962 to 1972)
Single seat open-wheeled and sports racing cars including production sports cars, historic formula cars, historic sports racing cars, classic sedans and historically significant Canadian race cars (e.g. Sprite/Midget, MGB, Lotus Elan, Shelby GT350, Formula Fords, Formula B/III/Vee, Mini Cooper S, Volvo, Lotus Cortina)
Classic
Group 70+ (1973 to 1989)
Production based and purpose built race cars designed to race in successful series such as IMSA, TransAm, SCCA and CASC GT Classes (e.g. Corvette, Mustang, Porsche, Datsun, BMW, Honda)
Formula 70+ includes single seat open wheel cars designed to race in open wheel series during the same timeframe (e.g. IndyCar, F1, Formula Ford, F2000, Formula Atlantic, SuperVee)
Group 90 (1990 to 1997)
Production based and purpose built race cars designed to race in successful series such as IMSA, TransAm, Touring Car, SCCA and CASC GT Classes (e.g. Ferrari, Mustang, Porsche, BMW, Honda)
Formula 90 includes single seat open wheel cars designed to race in open wheel series during the same timeframe (e.g. IndyCar, F1, Formula Ford, F2000, Formula Atlantic, SuperVee)
