Racing will be on the SMP “Pro” Track. It is 2.47 km long with nine corners.
Here’s how the track describes it: “The outer perimeter of Shannonville’s Long track provides the driver with long swooping corners, a challenging hairpin that takes you onto the drag strip straightaway, into a chicane and then onto the Nelson straightaway. A challenging and fun course.
VARAC participants may paddock on the south side of the park, in the grassy areas to the right of the entry gate, behind the grandstands.
We have invited the Boots ‘n Bonnets Car Club to hold a show on the skid pad concurrent with our event.
The day’s activities will include two sessions in the morning for each run group, a complimentary lunch for club members and officials, and two sessions in the afternoon. Trophy presentations and a social with snacks at the end of the day.
