1969 – C3 Vintage Corvette Racer for Sale – 2012-11-17
1969 C3 Corvette Coupe – Just finished a 1 ½ year complete ground-up restoration, the picture above is the first on-track action since the rebuild, June 6, 2012 – Turn #10 Mosport – in its first track shake down the car turned a 1.29 lap (more to come!).
During the restoration the car was rebodied with 1980 C3 body. Engine: 380 ci small block Chevy, with 23 deg. aluminum heads, 12-1 compression ratio, dry sump system, dynoed at 620 BHP and built by Beatty & Woods, Mississauga. 5 Speed Tremec Transmission. The car is equipped with Dick Gullstrand competition suspension system, it comes with 2 sets of wheels with Goodyear Slicks mounted. #67 is a fun car to drive and race it is currently registered as a VARAC G70+ car is also eligible for CASC GT 2 Sprints competition. This 1987 Porsche 951 (944 Turbo) is one of the most developed and best prepared cars of its type in North America. The car has been reliably dyno”d and set up by Chris White at close to 600HP in the last 12 months.
Since complete engine build the car has less than 5 hours on the motor and suspension. A rear mounted dry sump system balances the car at 51/49 Front to Rear and safeguards the main and rod bearings.
